Principal guitar educator and guitar education specialist

For more than 15 years, I've specialised in teaching guitar through Catholic Education and private tuition. I've led guitar ensembles at the Townsville Eisteddfod, worked across multiple Mulkadee productions, and was selected as the expert professional guitar tutor leading the guitar program at the 2021 Mulkadee Youth Arts Festival. I've also mentored other guitar teachers in how to teach more effectively.

I can usually spot the cause of a playing problem quickly. A small issue with posture, hand position or movement can make an apparently unrelated technique feel impossible. Rather than piling on more exercises, I help students find and fix the thing that is actually holding them back.

Lessons are practical, encouraging and tailored to the person in front of me. My goal is simple: help each student understand their instrument, enjoy the music they play and make progress they can feel.
